TWO US journalists faced trial last night in North Korea on accusations of illegal entry and "hostile acts", which could send them to a labour camp for 10 years. Laura Ling and Euna Lee, reporters for former US vice-president Al Gore's California-based Current TV media venture, were arrested on March 17 near the North Korean border while on a trip to China. Pyongyang's official Korean Central News Agency said yesterday that the trial would begin at 3pm, local time, in the Central Court. The trial comes amid mounting tensions on the Korean peninsula following Pyongyang's nuclear test last week....
