TWO US journalists faced trial last night in North Korea on accusations of illegal entry and "hostile acts", which could send them to a labour camp for 10 years. Laura Ling and Euna Lee, reporters for former US vice-president Al Gore's California-based Current TV media venture, were arrested on March 17 near the North Korean border while on a trip to China. Pyongyang's official Korean Central News Agency said yesterday that the trial would begin at 3pm, local time, in the Central Court.
